The Niagara Reinforcement transmission line provided an opportunity to develop an equity ownership model with the Six Nations of the Grand River and the Mississaugas of the Credit. The communities share the benefits of owning the line for many years to come. The line is meeting the provinces electricity needs and providing local industries with access to clean, reliable energy.

NRLP provides the First Nation communities with a long-term return on their investment. This high voltage line delivers economic value to the people of Ontario by improving the robustness of the transmission system and it guarantees that the local First Nation communities continue to benefit financially for years to come.
